The truth stings

Late last week it was made public that, some time before the presidential election, President Obama had been informed, by reliable sources, of the Russian cyberattack on the American election.  In an effort to send a powerful bipartisan caution to voters, he reached out to Republican Mitch McConnell, but McConnell, for partisan political reasons (if not worse), refused to cooperate.  In so refusing, McConnell became party to a treasonable outrage against the election and the US Constitution.  Though he’s unlikely to suffer punishment for this crime, Mother Nature is meting out a sentence of its own, giving him each day, more and more, the appearance of a prospective Winn-Dixie fryer.  We expect a second, more substantive punishment at the polls in November.

THE TUCKAHOE HARPOON  AND HOMELAND STAR LAST MAN STANDING:  TRUMP, COMEY, MCCABE, WRAY, MUELLER As of the end of January, 2018, Donald Trump is in deep trouble.  We know this not only because of documented and published statements and events, but also because of the political gymnastics, acrobatics and contortions that Trump and his associates have engaged in to thwart, distort, delay, and discourage the Mueller Collusion/obstruction inquiry.  Recent news about Trump, to the effect that he is planning to remove Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, suggests that Trump's pushback has gone desperate.  The tactical implications of such a move are transparent.  Replacing Rosenstein with a Trump parasite would allow said parasite to fire Robert Mueller on 'Trumped-up' charges.  Pulling the same stunt with FBI Director Chris Wray would endanger the voluminous records already compiled by the Mueller team.   Hoping that we're wron...
